Dome at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian

"I liked the way the light was refracting off the dome," says Jessica. "It's important to consider the element of scale here. That dome is at least four stories up."

According to the museum, the center of the ceiling symbolizes "the smoke hole of an American Indian dwelling," and "the museum also traces the path of the sun throughout the year with a glass prism window that faces directly south. This prism projects the colors of light into the museum."
